a little dusting of snow this morning

The first picture is of the cake I made for my friend LeaAnn's daughter's baby shower. I went this afternoon to the shower. No one else from the office went, so I felt good that I did. LeaAnn was so pleased.

The second picture is of Carson peeking in the entertainment center. I have a hair tie on the knobs so he can't get it open all the way but he can sure stick his head in there. He tries everytime he is here to open it all the way. I just thought it was a cute picture.

It was a nice day yesterday and then this morning cold and a light covering of snow all over. I actually slept till 7 this morning. That is like 3 hours later than I normally sleep. WOW a record for me.

Gma went to see her new primary care Dr. yesterday. She really liked him and she said he is good looking. I'm glad that she liked him. That is a plus.

Guess that is about all I know. Going to play a game and do the laundry and probably go to bed because I don't really feel like doing anything. Sort of in a blah mood. Not really down just blah.

Have the new pantry in the house and have started organizing cabinets. Really nice. Lon did a good job finishing it. It sits where the white refrig. was. Looks good.

A few days and Meg and I will be on the road to Amy's. That will be good. We will have a lot of fun. Can't wait to see Zek and play with Chewy. Will take lots of pictures so I will have a lot to blog about.

Lon is having pizza for supper so I will have to find something to eat. Or maybe I will just drink ha ha ha.

Wed is Boys Day

Carson is a heck of a musician. Except, he does not play the keyboard the conventional way. From the pictures you can tell that he has his own way and style. With his feet with his butt anything but his hands. And, he also uses the lap desk as a place to get down and boogie. The one of Dawson is him icing a cup cake. That was his treat when he got up from our nap. The boys and I all took a nap in the insanely comfortable bed together.
Got up this morning at 3. Did laundry, baked the cake I have to have done Friday for the baby shower for LeaAnn's daughter on Sat.. Got it flat iced and will decorate it tomorrow night.
Been really busy at work lately. You wouldn't know that people are getting laid off and that there is a major recession. They just keep coming to the Dr.. Guess that is just great job security.
Going to do my usual and play a game or two then fix supper and get my uniform ready for tomorrow and then go to sleep. Like a never ending merry go round. But, a week from tomorrow Meg and I will be on our way to Clarksville. Looking forward to it and seeing my little Zek and my tootsie.

The new Grand puppy

Meet our newest member of the family GIZMO! He is adorable. So cute, so fuzzy and so little. Just a real little heart stealer. But, you know me and dogs, I love them all! Makes me want one!!!!! Kyle and Buffy have a reason to be proud of him!!!!
Think that we figured we have as many granddogs as we do grandkids. Our family keeps growing. LOL
