Pictures got all messed up

Had the pictures all in order and when the post was published it messed them up so...........have fun fixing it in your head.

Day at Mammy's

It was a busy day here at Mammy and Papa's. Carson was a good boy and took 2 naps, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. He played with toys,his styrofoam bowl that his snacks were in and ate non-stop. He jabbered some and grinned and just had one surprise in the diaper for me. Papa got Dawson from school and brought him here. I had bought a new paintbook with paints for Dawson so he painted and put in his DVD of Ruby and Max. There is a part on there where they play beauty shop and they say "Gorgeous" When the movie would say it Dawson would say it and finally said to me "mammy what does gorgeous mean?" I explained really really pretty, better than beautiful. So after his nap when he was starting to make his Valentine cards to send to family he was stamping and he said "Look Mammy this is GORGEOUS!" After every stamp he would say Gorgeous or Really Gorgeous. Papa ask him if his girlfriend Gracie at school was gorgeous and he said Yes really gorgeous. Funny man. After he was done stamping he put stickers on the cards and next time will do the writing. We had a good day. Think I got about a 10 minute nap today while the boys were asleep this afternoon.

Suppose to be really cold tonight and tomorrow. YUCK! But what do I expect it is January. Only 2 more days of work this week and then next week she is gone on a ski trip. I have an eye dr. appointment at 8:30 Monday morning and then at 1:50 I go to the foot dr.. Get these dang feet fixed and my eyes fixed. Suppose to have fasting lab work done next week too. Then on the 11th of Feb. I have my colonoscopy. So you won't be able to accuse me of being full of crap because on the 10th I will flush my system out.

That about wraps it up for now. Hope everyone is fine and doing well.

Cold front coming

Carson is so hard to take a picture of! He turns his head or makes a face or closes his eyes. And of course I never have the camera in my hand to get the good shots. The other picture is of Dawson with his train set all put together in his room. It has lights, sounds, and is super cool.
Well guess I need to catch up here. Been a few days since I have posted. But, going back to work changes things.
#1 Work has been quite stressfull and SUPER BUSY!!!! Same old same old where it is concerned.
#2 LeaAnn at work wants me to make 20 baby shower invitations for her. I have been working on those and they are ready to be all assembled. Got some input on them today while Buffy and Kyle were here.
#3 Gma Toot put a bouquet of flowers on communion chest at church today in honor of Buffy and Kyle's engagement. So they went to church. That was very nice of Gma and very special.
#4 Dad had good results in Columbia on Wed.. He saw a Nurse Prac. for the diabetes part of the VA claim. So sounds like we will get that and she said for him to try for the hearing loss (we all could attest to that!) and his arthritis plus if they turn down the PTSD for us to get a Rep. and fight it. So that is what we are going to do.
#5 Went to see a new Dr. on Friday. Liked her very well and getting a lot of things scheduled for myself. Mammogram (the old tits in the ringer), a dexa bone scan (I have shrunk 2 inches. She was a little concerned since that is quite a bit but blames it on the chemo.) Getting an Xray of my tailbone since it hurts off and on and getting referred to a foot doctor for my hammer toes and bunions. She did a pap and I have to go back for fasting blood work. She gave me 2 different meds for my stress, anxiety and depression and a med for my bladder. Go back to see her in 3 months unless something goes wrong or need to see her. Buffy goes to see her on Wed.. She didn't bitch about my smoking, said as stressed out as I was that now would not be the time. Told her if I had to quit now that she would probably be visiting me in the county jail because I would hurt somebody. So we will see if the meds help and I chill for a while. Think that would be good for everyone around me!
#6 Got the big 7 foot pantry that matches our cabinets. Lon is in the garage staining it now. It will go where the white refrig. is now and we will move it to Lisa's (Megans' old house) since it will fit better there instead of the one she had. Lisa will be moving in 3 weeks. I know that she is happy and excited.
#7 Lon had to go and rescue Gma. She left her lights on in the truck and when she tried to start the truck it wouldn't start. He had just laid down for a nap and the phone kept ringing so he got up.
#8 Carson fell out the door the other night and hit his head. Sarah called me and I went running over there. His pupils dilated fine and he was walking fine. Just scared Sarah to death. He got out the sliding door because Sarah was letting the puppy Snoopy out. Be she cussed that dog and Josh. Think she hurt her knee in the process.
Well that about gets it up to today. This morning I needed a couple of things from Walmart to finish these invitations so of course the dogs wanted to go. Even Babe is becoming a GO dog. So they got in the car and off we went. I went to walmart and then to McDonalds and got a carmel latte and 3 sausage egg mcmuffins. One for Lon, one for me and one for the girls to share. Are they spoiled??? Anyway, on the way home I was thinking about the dogs being like kids only easier....no car seats for them, can leave them in the car when you go in a store, they can't say that they are hungry or how much longer, let them out to pee in a grassy area, and lay down and go to sleep. Funny how it use to be my own kids to do all these things for, now the kids are grown and I have 2 kids (dogs) left. I just chuckled to myself all the way home.
So that is about it. Going to finish my break and then back to the cards. And of course there is still laundry to do and pick up and etc., but as long as I have a uniform for tomorrow I figure that can wait. If Lon is out of underwear socks, etc then he can do it. LOL Did load the dishwasher this morning and turn it on.
