Okay family and friends, I pose the question to you. How many times have you heard me say I like my job??? Not very many, but let me tell you that this week in Buffalo has been a JOY!!!! I am working with a nurse practioner whose name is Patty and she is GREAT. We have got along fantastic and the office manager is nice and the other front office person is Mary and she is super sweet. We laugh and joke and are busy and it is relaxed and all this wonderful stuff. I even am going to work Friday because I like it! Now is that amazing or what? Today the NP and I went to lunch and she is going to see if she can get me on at that clinic 3 days a week as a back up nurse, front office back up and lab person. Hey that is great. Don't know how long it will take but I really hope that she gets the job done. Lon can't believe I come home smiling at night. It takes me approx. 30 mins to drive it and the only traffic I really have is on 65 highway for 13 miles. Dang it is nice. No city traffic and nice people and I just can't say enough good stuff about it. I am really hating to leave tomorrow afternoon. Next week I go to the Elfindale clinic and work Mon, Tues, Thurs and Fri.. I am working for a Dr. that the nurse gave her 2 week notice. Tamra manages that clinic too so that is why I am going there. But, this Dr. hates smokers. So she already dislikes me. Too bad is what I say. Already judging me before she sees what type of nurse I am. How could I work for someone like that????
Especially since I have just had one of the best weeks of my nursing career.
I have looked at Amy's blog and saw the cute pix of Zek and of him with Gma Toot and Gpa Great and just read about Carson crawling and Dawson's first ball game tomorrow night. I can't wait to see that.
Lon is doing good. He goes to the Dr. next Wed.. He is upset that his energy didn't just bounce back but I try and try to tell him that it isn't like he is 30 anymore. He tunes me out. His scar is looking good. Just 3 little places that have scabs on it and the rest is healed. Looks really good and healed really quickly for a diabetic.
Megan and Buffy are fine as far as I know. Lisa and Trinity are still in Arizona.
Let us not forget Des over in Afghanastan. Keep him in thoughts and prayers and for Amy and Sarah's memaw as she goes through chemo again. Keep me in your prayers also to have them make this position for me at Buffalo. It would be great and a real positive for me. I have been in the ditches for so long at my other job that it is about time a good thing happen.
Hope all is well in your worlds. Keep the faith. Takes a big dog to way a ton.
Till next post. Love ya bye
