And here he is Mr. Councilman.
The election was Tues. Even though he had been a councilman before ( he was appointed to fill a vacancy not elected) he is now official for 2 years. Sarah is the city clerk now so she will be swearing him into office. What a family, huh?!!
My job situation sucks because I really don't know anything and it looks like I am going to have to float for awhile to different clinics. Not my idea of fun at all. Put a total of 15 job transfers in now and with our human resources office the way it is I probably won't hear anything. So, the story goes on and on. They are meeting Monday with the Dr. I worked for and it does not look good at all. I'll keep you posted.
I have had Carson and Dawson 2 days this week. Yesterday I don't think I was a very good Mammy. I got mad at Dawson and Carson and I had a time with his lunch. Needless to say I was so tired last night. I really think everything is getting to me because deep down inside I am really ticked off.
And to top it all off our dryer quit drying. Almost a year old so thank goodness it is still under warranty. But, it will take a week to get the part. So, I have all the stuff washed 5 loads and have to take it to the laundramat to dry today. So much fun. Then come home and clean house since Lon has people coming for a big jam session this weekend. And of course I have to be the taxi Sat night well Sunday AM early when they need to go to the motel in Bolivar. YeeFricking Ha!!!
More rain and more rain and more rain. Gma Toot is back to her old ways of not wanting to do anything and says she doesn't feel right and sits most of the time. I just had enough last night and told her what I thought. Probably shouldn't but I got to thinking my girls would probably tell me off if I were like her so I didn't feel so bad. Right now I just feel like I can't handle anymore and just want to hibernate. Oh well guess that is my life.
I wish that I didn't have to work but I see the numbers in black and white and there is no other way. I also feel I have been encouraging and supportive of Lon's music but I still haven't seen that productive. Seems we spend money on that and he practices but they don't have enough music ready to do a 4 hour gig. Maybe a 2 but no jobs lined up. So that boils deep inside of me.
On the bright side Lon got his first crutch to go on is Fez. He and 2 other guys sponsored a child to go to the Shrine Hospital. He went to the meeting last night and had a good time. I did laundry, got mad at Gma and felt sorry for myself.
Gpa brought me a drink maker over Sunday when I helped him with his CEU's online. And he brought all the alcohol and fixings. Let's just say I have REALLY enjoyed it so MUCH!!!! But, not to excess just to take the edge off. Sunday I felt great and really wanted Taco Bell...........huh alcohol and taco bell is there a story????Ask Buffy she knows.
It is getting lighter out now with the raindrops still coming down. So, I will go clean out my car so I can get the large load of clothes in it. Will wait till Lon gets up to get money from him to dry them, because I will be damned to spend what little I have left. Also, if I need to go to the store to get food for his big weekend he can fork over the money for that too.
