The weekend

Well it's Sunday night and back to work tomorrow. Oh well, it's been a GOOD weekend. The two youngest were here on Sat. night and spent the night. That makes a mom's heart happy. I bbq'd steaks and make homemade french fries. Megan couldn't wait to see her new nephew. Meg and Buffy playfully bantered back and forth and Ziggy and Chessi played. When the girls went to Sarah and Josh's house I grand-dog sat. They were running and playing and barking. Crazy dogs. Maggi had a cow like she always does and her attitude got her a swat and put into the bedroom. Lon and his friends recorded and had to do some trial and error since one type of mic. wouldn't work right. Of course when the real work was done they played and drank and told stories I'm sure. Then at 2 am this morning I had to drive them to the motel. I never did sleep last night because I was afraid I wouldn't hear the alarm to get Buffy up to go to work. Seeing those 2 girls sleeping brought back a lot of memories and brought a big smile to my face. You don't want your kids to stay little forever. They are great young women now with busy lives, college and work and are making their own way. I am so blessed to have such GOOD, caring, hardworking, goal oriented daughters. ALL OF YOU!!!!!! Megan brought her project that she did for one of her classes. It is a DVD and it is awesome. Gave her a 3 foot Christmas tree and a few ornaments so she would be able to decorate for Christmas. Buffy left Chessi here and will come get her tomorrow night. Think I will send Maggi because she has to stay somewhere while we are gone. I am trying to check all my lists for our trip to Georgia. I am so looking forward to seeing Zek, Amy and Des. Went to the store on Sat. and think I got everything that I was to bring. All ready had the non-cold stuff in his car but had to take it out this morning when I took the guys to the motel. So it will go back in before I leave in the morning. Think I have all the laundry done so tomorrow night I will get everything together and in the car so we can leave about 2 on Tues afternoon. Should just take the whole day off but I need to save a little ETO time in case I need it. Kept going to sleep this afternoon so I laid down and took a 3 hour nap. Sorry Amy that I didn't get you called back. Megan called and made it home fine. It is quiet now and I am trying to get relaxed so I can call it a day. Our family is growing and changing and at the moment everyone is doing fine. That's a good thing. The picture to the girls is from a couple of years back but it's a good picture. Just think how many pictures I will have when we get back from Amy's. Love to all!!!!!
