Well we had a sighting of a tornado that came out of the sky but didn't touch down here in town. Those stupids news casters kept saying big wall cloud over the town and circulation and the sirens were blarring and it wasn't that severe. You know we have Tornado Ted Jr in the family AKA Lon. Well we went chasing because he wouldn't let me stay here. Grabbed Maggi and off we went. They called the tornado warning off and we came home. Think we had 8 phone calls wanting to know if we were okay. Craziness but the media played it up more than they should have.
Made my night hell because I couldn't even relax and play my games.
My shingles are healing. Still having the nerve pain and sometimes it is pretty severe. May always have it. That is a lasting effect from shingles. Have one place that was really bad on my forhead and it is still healing. Loading it every couple of hours with antibiotic ointment.
Had Dawson last night when I went to Gma's. I won't be getting to keep him on Friday afternoons because Josh is going to work all day on Friday. Makes me really sad because that was our afternoon to have fun and spend together. I am working on the snowman costume for him and hopefully have it ready by the weekend. He tried on some costumes at Walmart last night but still is set on being a snowman.
Well the ole clock says it is about time for the mammy to hit the sack. Only a day and a 1/2 of work left this week. YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Crisp Fall Air
There is fall in the air. It is cooler and sort of rainy. Yesterday was not a typical Monday at work so I am afraid today will be a Monday and Tuesday rolled into one. Got the punch balls to begin creating Dawson's snowman costume. Oh what fun I have creating when I get on a roll. Have to go to Gma's after work tonight and wax her hair off her face. She looks like the bearded lady. Know that it has been at least 3 months since we did it maybe even longer.
The wreath in the picture is what Sheree made to hang on their door and the pumpkins Kasey grew in the back yard at their house. That is sure fall isn't it?
The old clock is telling me it is time to get in the shower and get cleaned up ready to go to the grind. Oh what fun. Till later........................
SUNDAY EVENING BLUES
GOT THOSE SUNDAY EVENING BLUES,
SOON IT WILL BE TIME FOR THE NIGHTLY SNOOZE,
BUT WHEN THAT ALARM CLOCK BUZZES LOUD IN THE MORN,
IT TICKS ME OFF AND MAKES MY EARS HURT LIKE A FLAT NOTE ON THE TRUMPET OR FRENCH HORN.
ITS A NORMAL EVENING HERE AT THIS HOUSE,
LATE IT WILL BE BLASTING FROM THE TV BUT NOW IS QUIET AS A MOUSE.
DON'T WANT TO GO TO WORK TOMORROW AND PUT IN A CHAOTIC DAY,
WOULD REALLY RATHER STAY HOME SCRAP BOOK, CRAFT AND PLAY.
BUT IT SEEMS THAT IN ORDER TO HAVE SHELTER, ELECTRIC AND FOOD,
YOU HAVE TO EARN A LIVING WHETHER ITS A BAD OR GOOD MOOD.
SO IT IS LIKE THIS EVERY SUNDAY OF EVERY WEEK,
GUESS I'M JUST TO LAZY FOR ANOTHER JOB TO SEEK.
SO I WILL GO TO THE OFFICE AND DO THE OLD NURSE JOB,
TAKE CARE OF THOSE PATIENTS WHETHER THEY BE BITCHY, NICE OR A REAL SNOB.
FOR A PAY CHECK AT THE END OF EVERY TWO WEEKS IS WHAT I AM AFTER,
'CAUSE SO FAR IT DOESN'T PAY WELL TO BE A BEAD MAKER OR A CRAFTER.
4 1/2 DAYS OF DREAD TO GO,
ONLY THING TO LOOK FORWARD TO IS A SNOWMAN COSTUME TO SEW.
SO FRIENDS AND FAMILY THIS OLD MAMMY HAS SPOKEN,
GUESS I CAN BE HAPPY SLEEP DOESN'T COST MONEY OR A TOKEN.

NOW THIS IS A PROUD PAPA. HE WAS HAVING PORTIA SAY OUTLOUD LOUDLY "GO PAPA"! SHE WOULD JUST LAUGH AND HE WOULD PUSH HER. LOOK AT HIS SMILE!!!!! HE LOVES ALL HIS GRANDKIDS, ESPECIALLY THE THREE 2 YEAR OLDS. HE CALLS THEM GOD'S LITTLE ANGELS. AND HE IS RIGHT!

WHAT A GREAT TIME AT KASEY & SHEREE'S TODAY!
Portia is really growing and she had fun playing and showing us all her things; her wagon, her new school back pack, the puppies, leaves from the tree and she showed my her play house in the back yard.
Ryan was busy working on his skate board ramp and Zach enjoyed working with Papa on his guitar and learning new cords. It is always so good to see the family and how well everything is.
Lisa came over and she looked pretty in the outfit she had on. She is doing well also.
We left there and went and ate Mexican and then went to see Buffy at work. She was not busy when we got there but 3 customers came just after we arrived. She quickly made their Quizno sandwiches and she wraps them just perfect.
So it was a beautiful day filled with family and PUPPIES, which are cute! Portia gets prettier by the day but don't sing the ABC song 'cause it ticks her off.
We are home now and Lon is taking a nap and I am blogging. I gave Sheree and Lisa the blogs and maybe they will start adding so we can all exchange blogs.

MY SLAB OF CONCRETE FOR MY BUILDING. SETS HARD AND STRONG FOR OVER A YEAR BECAUSE WE CAN'T GET ANYONE TO MOVE THE BUILDING FROM GMA'S HOUSE TO OUR HOUSE. JUST GOTTA SAY THAT IT HAS PLENTY OF LIGHT AND YOU CAN SEE THE STARS GREAT AT NIGHT. LOL
It is Sunday morning and I have been up for 4 hours already. I retouched my roots and have downed a 1/2 pot of coffee. Got my hair curled but not combed yet. Still have my makeup to put on. The shingles places are better but the one bad one still shines on my forehead. Whenever I see someone I know or even if I don't know them their eyes look straight at the place on my forehead. And the one on the tip of my nose is healing too, but sticks right our there. Self concious. Be glad when they are GONE!!!!
I have tried on 8 pairs of jeans this morning. They are all REALLY BAGGY! Looks tacky. So, I thought to myself I will go into Buffy's old room and see if there are any in there to wear that I could fit into. Well I tried on 3 pair that fit but oh my gosh they had holes in different places and Lon said I looked like a refugee. He is from the OLD SCHOOL and thinks that it is just terrible. Such a stupid thing. So I have my oldest most comfortable pair on and they are baggy but I have a long sweater on to hide the bagginess of them. And of course there is no extra money to buy new and I am picky about jeans. I want them to feel good. Oh well bitch bitch bitch! Seems that is all I ever do. At least I have lost about 15 pounds and would love to lose 15 more. Can you believe I fit into Buffy's old jeans. What a concept???????
We are going to see pretty Portia today and take her the pumpkin princess witch. We will also get to see the puppies. Be good to see them all. We were going to go to Mt. Vernon to the Apple Butter Making Days but don't think I am in any mood. Oh well. Getting out of the house might change the ole attitude.
Gotta get my face on and my find some sort of shoes. Love to everyone and THANK YOU AMY for the kind words you said. I see ALOT of similarities in us. That may not be a good thing!!!! LOL
Maybe the next writing will have new pictures from today. Said I was going to take new pictures and by golly I will.
